Society for UAP Studies co-founder, President and Executive Director Mike Cifone does the topic and the field a favour by tackling the dead-end of “Disclosure” and distinguishing it from the open promise of scientific investigation of the phenomenon.
On the one hand, a more devastating critique of the inaugural moment of this post-2017 phase of interest could (and should) be mounted, while, on the other, given the interested engagement of the national security state, especially in the U.S., the very possibility of accessing “pure” scientific data without the construction of an independent infrastructure of instrumentation is, to me, it seems, more complex than Cifone explicitly admits. Nevertheless, his essay on the topic is robust in its analysis and firm in it conclusions.
